Most people think becoming a Christian is a complicated process. How could it be so easy to wash away a lifetime of sins? But it’s simple as long as your heart is sincere.

(John 3:16 KJV)
First, meet Jesus at the foot of the cross and repent of your sin. Repentance is a sincere act that means you are so sorry that you no longer want to sin.

(1 Peter 2:24 KJV)
Then, examine these verses:
Romans 10:9-10 KJV
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The act of accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior is both an inward and outward expression. “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9 NIV)
By doing this, a new believer: is born into God’s family—being given the right to become a child of God (John 1:12-13)! Is promised eternal life—belonging to Jesus, and He will never lose you (John 6:39-40)! And is given the Holy Spirit! By His power working in you, you can become more like Christ as you grow in your new Christian faith (Philippians 1:6)!

(2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV)
